Our approach to privacy

SpeechDelayHelp is built to collect as little data about visitors as possible. This is a deliberate design choice, not an afterthought.

What we collect

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. It collects aggregate data about page visits (page views, referrer, country, browser type) without:

  • Setting any cookies
  • Tracking individuals across sessions or sites
  • Collecting personal information
  • Requiring a consent banner under GDPR or similar regulations

This data is used solely to understand which content is being read, so the site can be improved.

No forms, no accounts, no email capture

SpeechDelayHelp does not have:

  • Contact forms
  • Email newsletter sign-ups
  • User accounts
  • Comment sections
  • Any other mechanism for collecting personal information

Some pages on this site include affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the retailer may collect data about that transaction according to their own privacy policy. This site receives no information about you personally from affiliate transactions.

This site links to external resources (CDC, ASHA, NHS, Google Maps searches, etc.). Once you leave this site, their respective privacy policies apply.

“Find help near me” buttons open Google Maps searches in a new tab. Google’s privacy policy applies to your interaction with Google Maps. No data is passed to Google Maps from this site beyond the search query text.

Data retention

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete.
